Terms of Service
These Terms govern your use of netpin.me (“netpin.me”, “we”, “us”). netpin.me is a social media post scheduler: you write a post once, choose the platforms it should go to, and we publish it immediately or at the time you set. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms.
1. The service
netpin.me lets you compose posts, attach media, connect your social media accounts, and schedule publication to those accounts. Supported platforms currently include TikTok, X (Twitter), Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Bluesky and Mastodon. We may add or remove platforms as their APIs change.
The service is provided on an “as is” basis. We work to publish every scheduled post on time, but delivery depends on third-party APIs we do not control. See section 6.
2. Your account
- You must be at least 16 years old, or the minimum age required by the social platforms you connect, whichever is higher.
- You are responsible for keeping your password and your connected-account credentials secure, and for all activity under your account.
- You must give accurate registration information and keep it current.
- Tell us promptly at contact@netpin.me if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.
3. Connected social media accounts
To publish on your behalf we need access to the accounts you connect. When you connect an account you authorise netpin.me to submit content to that platform as you, using the permissions you granted during authorisation and nothing more.
- You must own, or be authorised to manage, every account you connect.
- Your use of each platform remains governed by that platform's own terms and policies. Nothing here overrides them, and you must not use netpin.me to do anything those terms prohibit.
- You may disconnect any account at any time from the Accounts screen. Disconnecting deletes the stored credentials for that platform and stops future publication to it.
- A platform may suspend, rate-limit or revoke our access at any time. If that happens, posts queued for it will fail and be marked as failed in your queue.
What each connection needs
- TikTok — authorised through TikTok with permission to upload and publish video to your account.
- Facebook — publishes to a Facebook Page you administer, not to a personal profile. You supply the Page during setup.
- Instagram — requires an Instagram Business or Creator account linked to a Facebook Page you administer. Personal Instagram accounts cannot be published to through the API.
- LinkedIn — publishes to a LinkedIn company page you are authorised to manage, using an organisation id you supply. Personal profile posting is not supported.
- X (Twitter) — authorised through X with permission to post. Tokens are short-lived and refreshed automatically where X permits it.
- Pinterest — authorised through Pinterest with permission to read your boards and create pins.
- Bluesky — you supply your handle and an app password generated in Bluesky's settings. Do not use your main account password; app passwords can be revoked individually at any time.
- Mastodon — you supply your instance URL and an access token you generate on that instance.
Each platform's own terms apply to your use of it, including the TikTok Terms of Service, the Meta Terms of Service, the LinkedIn User Agreement, the X Terms of Service, the Pinterest Terms of Service, the Bluesky Terms of Service, and the terms of whichever Mastodon instance you use.
Reading data back
Where a platform allows it, netpin.me reads back public engagement on posts it published for you (likes, comments, shares, reach) so it can show you how they performed. On Bluesky and Mastodon it also polls replies and mentions for your Inbox, and — if you use the Listening feature — searches public timelines for the terms you choose to track. What we access on each platform is set out in the Privacy Policy.
4. Your content
You keep all rights to the posts, images and video you create. You grant netpin.me only the limited licence needed to run the service for you: to store your content, and to transmit it to the platforms you selected, at the time you selected.
That licence ends when you delete the content or your account. We do not use your content for advertising, we do not sell it, and we do not use it to train machine-learning models.
You are responsible for what you publish. You confirm you hold the necessary rights to every piece of content you schedule, including any music, footage or images inside it.
5. Acceptable use
You must not use netpin.me to:
- publish unlawful, infringing, deceptive, harassing, hateful or sexually exploitative content;
- send spam, run bulk unsolicited campaigns, or operate coordinated inauthentic behaviour across accounts;
- impersonate any person or organisation, or misrepresent your affiliation with one;
- circumvent, disable or exceed a platform's rate limits, review process, or API terms;
- upload malware, or probe, scrape or disrupt our infrastructure or another user's account.
We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches this section, and where required we will report the breach to the affected platform.
6. Scheduling and delivery
Scheduled posts are dispatched by a job that runs every minute and fires posts whose scheduled time has passed. Publication depends on the destination platform accepting the request. Where a platform rejects a post or does not respond, we retry a limited number of times and then mark the post as failed in your queue — we never fail silently.
Access tokens issued by some platforms expire. If a token expires or is revoked before a scheduled post fires, that post will fail and you will need to reconnect the account. We do not guarantee delivery, uninterrupted availability, or any particular reach or engagement.
7. Plans and payment
Paid plans, where offered, are billed through our payment processor, Stripe. Card details are handled by Stripe and never reach our servers. Prices, and any taxes that apply to you, are shown at the point of purchase. You can cancel at any time and your plan will run to the end of the period you have already paid for.
Your right to cancel — UK and EU consumers
If you are a consumer in the United Kingdom or the European Union, you have 14 days from the day you subscribe to withdraw from the contract, without giving a reason. This right comes from the UK Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 and, in the EU, Directive 2011/83/EU — implemented in Romania by OUG 34/2014.
If you ask us to start your paid plan straight away, before those 14 days have passed, you keep the right to withdraw during the window but you agree to pay a proportionate amount for the service actually provided up to the moment you tell us. Once the service has been fully performed with your prior express consent, the right to withdraw is lost.
To withdraw, email contact@netpin.me with a clear statement that you are cancelling. We will refund what is due within 14 days, using the same payment method you paid with.
Outside that window, payments are non-refundable for a period already served, unless the law says otherwise.
8. Suspension and termination
You may stop using netpin.me at any time and delete your account from Account Settings — this removes your profile, scheduled posts and connected accounts from our systems. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these Terms, creates risk or legal exposure, or has been inactive for an extended period. Where reasonable we will give notice first.
9. Disclaimers
The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that every scheduled post will be published.
If you are a consumer in the UK or the EU, this section applies only so far as the law allows. You remain entitled to a service supplied with reasonable care and skill, and to the remedies your national law gives you if it is not.
10. Limitation of liability
If you use netpin.me as a business: to the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, nor for lost profits, lost business, lost goodwill, or the missed publication of any post. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or £50 (or its equivalent in your currency).
If you are a consumer: we are liable for loss you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking these Terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill. The cap above does not apply to you. We are not liable for loss that was not foreseeable, or for loss arising from your own use of the service in a way we did not intend. None of this affects your statutory rights, which in the EU and UK cannot be excluded or limited by contract.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as the service develops. When we make a material change we will update the date at the top of this page and, where the change significantly affects your rights, notify you by email or in the app. Continuing to use netpin.me after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
12. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. What that means for you depends on who you are:
- Consumers in the European Union — this choice of law cannot deprive you of the protection of the mandatory consumer rules of the country where you live. If you live in Romania, Romanian consumer law continues to protect you. You may bring proceedings in the courts of your own country, and we will only bring proceedings against you in the courts of the country where you live.
- Consumers in the United Kingdom — you may bring proceedings in the courts of England and Wales or, where the law allows it, in the part of the United Kingdom where you live.
- Business users — the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
Complaints
Please email contact@netpin.me first — most problems are settled quickly and directly. If we cannot resolve it, EU consumers may refer the dispute to the consumer protection body in their own country; in Romania that is the Autoritatea Națională pentru Protecția Consumatorilor (ANPC), anpc.ro. For data protection complaints, see the Privacy Policy.
